The Beatles - Long and Winding Road 

 Enjoy the sound of Paul McCartney as you read my blogpost.  

So along the beaten path, this is where I walk daily.  My friend, Ann, from Ann's Snap, Edit, Scrap are on this fitness thing.  We're both trying to get healthy.  So this is the dirt road beside my home.  I walk here daily.  I love listening to the animals, birds, etc. early morning at sun up!

Now that fall is coming I've been seeing a lot of these on the ground, notice the green is leaving the leaves.

 I see this all over this road.  I remember as a young girl when my Dad would take me fishing, that if I needed to wash my hands, he had me pick some of these purplish flowers rub the blossoms on my hands and then mix with the water.  I made a whitish soap!  Not sure what these weeds are called.

And this is the road on my way back home.  I do approximately 12 trips up and down this road a day.  I try to stay off the blacktop roads as those are worse to walk on.

And last but not least, it's acorn time.  These are all over the place and I pick up the really nice ones!

So what else have I been up to this week!!

Working on this table runner.  Here I was trying different layouts and I'll show you next week what I actually ended up with.

 I did find out that although these look like argyle socks, this isn't want I ended up with.  It was too hard to sew these together and get a perfect diamond each time.  I was having some difficulty with my machine.  I think I may have it straightened out a bit, but you'll have to come back next week.
