I'll send the little witch with hubby to work and you will also receive some fabric!! You'll be able to make more of those little scare crows or some other project!!!
Thanks to all four of you that entered!!
So what have I been up to this week!!! On Tuesday, I took a drawing class at the center. We were tasked with drawing with pencil and then shading, etc. with colored pencils a pumpkin, gourd, corn and wheat! This is what I came up with!
I actually had fun doing this. I would like to perfect my leaves better though. The lady who was teaching us is a retired elementary school art teacher. She has so much patience with us! They have drawing, art classes twice a month on the second and fourth Mondays. So, can't wait to see what she has for us to do next month.
Also, yesterday was quilting class. My Trip Around the World is still not finished, the director forgot to get the border fabric over the weekend, so I ended up cutting fabric for a Quilt-A-Long I'm doing over at My Carolina Home blogspot. So here is what I did yesterday.
My fall leaves. I have actually 4 made thus far and plan on doing four more tomorrow. Tomorrow is the day another block style will be added. Ugh!! I need to get busy!!
Here is some of the fabric I've been cutting and am going to use in more leaves!
I did a lot of decorating here at our home for Fall and I'd like to share a few pictures.
Our diningroom |
Mantle - I collect Jim Shore and I love my witch and my little skeleton! |
Better picture of fireplace with the decorations. I made the runner on top of the mantle several years ago before my quilting days! |
No room goes untouched! This is an arrangement in our one bathroom. |
I love to flower arrange, so this is the arrangement on my nightstand. |
One of the kitchen corner shelves. |
Front door with my vinyl clings! I love those things. Also, the door has a beautiful little quilt done by Michelle May at The Raspberry Rabbits! Can't see it really well here. |
Another arrangement on my husband's nightstand. |
Hugs,
Debbie
What a surprise Debbie. Thanks so much. The magnet is already on my fridge. Now to decide what to do with the fabric.
ReplyDeleteLOVE your drawing. That looks great. I thought you said you couldn't draw :)
You're very welcome, Ann. And I can't draw, but I'm learning.
