Here it is July already!

Hi everyone!  I've spent the last few days following a quilting blog hop called Christmas in July.  Since I haven't blogged in quite a while and am trying to get back into it now that I am retired, I've noticed that several of the blogs I followed a while ago, no longer are blogging, so I don't have a whole lot of people to follow and to gain some inspiration from.  So, I checked out this blog hop and came out of it with quite a few new quilting blogs to follow.

I've gained some amazing ideas from these gals.  Fabric cards for Christmas and other occasions, how to make a French Seam so your seams don't ravel when washing say pillowcases that are homemade.  I can't wait to give these a try!

I'm currently preparing for a craft show at the Pymatuning Lake Festival in Andover OH, which is right across the causeway near where I live.  This is a beautiful area to have a 2-day festival, right on the lake.  Praying for non-rainy weather, of course.  My friend, Ann, and I have been doing this show now for about 4 or 5 years, I guess.  We tried to change up our crafts this year and display, so once we have a mock up, I'll have to post some pictures.

For now,  This is Ann's and my new logo for our little craft business.  We call it Crow Cabin Creations.  We hope to be selling our crafts soon on Etsy.  We are just about setup and only need to add our items for sale with pictures.  We probably won't get this completed until after the lake show on Aug 6 and 7th.

At some point, I'd like to have our own Primitive, Country, Rustic crafts website which is something that my son, Bryan, the computer guru would be able to help me with.

So stay posted, much more to come in the future!

Here's wishing you a beautiful summertime day in July and a beautiful weekend!!

Hugs,

Debbie

  2. Good Luck with you new venture....it would be fun to have a friend to do stuff like that with. A lot of bloggers that I started out with don't blog any more, they do facebook.
