Happy Friday!!

Had a great vacation time. I was off for 17 days and it was wonderful. I got to do lots of things that I haven't had time to do in a while. I walked, and walked, and walked, I rode my bike, and biked, and biked. I had some time to work on my quilting too! I am almost finished with my table runner. I have a little bit of binding to do and it is done. Hope to finish it off this weekend. I've decided that it shouldn't go on the picnic table, it is just too nice to go there. Since it is in colors of Christmas, it could be a runner for the holidays, or since my color scheme in my house is greens, burgundies, etc. It could be a year-round runner. I like how it turned out for someone that hasn't been quilting very long. I'm still making blocks, and sewing them together for the queen-size quilt I'll be working on for a while. I just wish I had lots of time to get it moving along more quickly. I still have a lot of cutting to do also as you can see here. Not much else to talk about here today. Have you noticed how slow blogger is uploading images? Geez!!! Have a great weekend everyone!!!

  1. Hi,

The table runner is beautiful. Too beautiful to just use it during the holidays. I would keep it out all year.

    Have a wonderful weekend.

    Hugs

    1. Hi Prudence and Joyce,
Thank you for the compliment on my runner. I did finish it over the weekend and I'm happy with it. I decided to put it on my coffee table in the living room. It looks really nice there. You are right, it should be out year round. Hope you had a wonderful weekend too! Have a good week.
